User Research
The process of UI/UX/Product design cannot be completed without user research. This is because, unlike a common misconception that this field is about making pretty screens, it actually involves understanding your users to make products that cater to their needs.
User research is the process of searching and inquiring to understand the behavior, needs, and motivations of users. When this is kept in mind and conducted, user-centered designs will be created.
User research is useful during the early stage of creation through foundational research. Design research is employed during the design process, and post-launch research is used after product launch for continuous iteration of the product.
In conclusion, the key to making a product useful, usable, equitable, and enjoyable for users is user research, and it should be taken seriously.
